THE GROUP
A beautiful family story
Groupe Magna Arbor
The Magna Arbor group is above all a family adventure, that of Odile and Francis, who decided in 2002 to add to their activities as farmers in Champagne by also becoming hoteliers in Paris.
They started with one establishment, the Baldi, then quickly expanded the group to three Parisian hotels by adding the Istria and the Coypel, all in neighbourhoods chosen for their character. Two of their children joined them in the business while the third stayed on the land to develop organic farming.
Magna Arbor (‘large tree’ in Latin) evokes the image of the tree under which the family sheltered at harvest time. A magnificent symbol of the passage of these traditions and of the family's environmental commitments.
Values
The hotel industry is a wonderful way to express our commitments and our values. Close to the earth, committed to its preservation, we wish to uphold a specific concept of hospitality, solidarity, and ethical and responsible values.
This translates into obvious choices, such as those that allow us to reduce our environmental impact, but also regarding day-to-day awareness-raising initiatives.
We count on our guests to help us in our journey. We also seek to establish lasting relationships with our employees and partners. This is why you will find the same teams in our hotels from one visit to the next.
